Yesterday a pristine copy of Action Comics #1, which introduces Superman and Lois Lane for the first time, was sold to a private comic collector for a record-breaking $1 million. However, the landmark event may be eclipsed Thursday as a superbly preserved issue of The Detective Comic #27, Batman's 1st comic appearance, goes up for sale at auction.
